Cysilie Hines-Growe is currently a senior at Freedom Preparatory Academy and will be attending Agnes Scott College to obtain her business degree. Throughout her time in Ghana, she developed herself personally as she was able to discover her self worth and identity. She found comfort in her ethnicity as a young African American woman, and felt free to be herself while letting her personality blossom.

our student ambassadors engaged in a quality photography workshop with Keith Renard. Students cannot wait to use their newly developed photography skills on their trip to Accra and Cape Coast, Ghana. Keith Renard spoke to students about various photography methods to enhance the appeal, and emotion photos can bring to viewers.
Our students were able to participate in cultural activities before the series of extraordinary performances. Some of the cultural engagement activities included viewing oil paintings, Chinese calligraphy, food tasting, and others.
One Step Initiative hosted its 3rd International Business Mixer of Greater Memphis at the historic National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine. he event served as an opportunity for students to meet international business professionals, and fundraiser for their upcoming Spring education abroad program in Ghana, West Africa with stops in London, along with a winter program in East Africa.
A talented athlete, Moses is exploring scholarship opportunities that will assist with subsidizing his college education. In addition to playing for St. Benedict and the OSI Youth Global Ambassador Program, Moses is involved in the Memphis Kings organization through basketball and community service.
When you meet OSI Global Ambassador Brayla Phillips, you are immediately drawn to her energy and intelligence. The high school senior has a keen interest in technology and aspires to study engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
As OSI celebrates year three, we want to take the opportunity to congratulate our OSI Global Ambassadors who will be taking the next step to college and continuing the path to their roles as future leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators.
