Our intrepid group of explorers embarked on a flight from Memphis to Barcelona, marking OSI’s first international program since the onset of COVID. The journey was filled with challenges; our original plan was to visit Ecuador, but due to the country’s current volatility, we made a swift pivot to Spain just one month before departure.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who played a role in making this experience possible for each young person traveling with us today. As we tallied the miles, we realized that instead of falling just short of a major milestone, the return of our students will officially mark the one-millionth mile traveled through One Step Initiative.
