Join us in our travels and develop a new understanding of how to better serve our communities as an OSI Youth Global Ambassador!
Facilitate service learning projects and help peers in expanding global awareness, creating a never-ending chain of support for everyone to get the help they need.
Our Selection Process
For each travel segment, our leaders integrate a six-month development program along with a student orientation, parent discussion, and debriefing. We’re seeking motivated, enthusiastic students with the ability to turn their study abroad travel into a truly life changing experience.
How To Qualify
Completed Application
One letter of recommendation (Must be from high school teacher or guidance counselor).
One student bio written by participant. Minimum of 300 words (Should include student interests, goals, expectations).
Meet the minimum age requirement (15-18),
3.0 GPA (Measured on a 4.0 GPA scale or an explanation if lower).
Current medical history information
$150 participant application fee (Following interview and OSI Acceptance Letter).

Participation
The Youth Global Ambassadors program is a 7-month commitment, and requires attendance to several developmental events. Failure to attend three (3) events during the program will result in dismissal.
Tuition
Program tuition is due in equal monthly payments by the 1st of each month, or the balance paid in full by 21 days before departure. All payments processed are non-refundable.
